内容摘要]近几年来，我国的虚假新闻层出不穷，这些虚假新闻主要表现形式为：以偏概全式新闻、故意失实式新闻、片面追求速度式新闻、捕风捉影式新闻。虚假新闻迎合了当前受众的心理特征，满足了人们的猎奇心理、窥私心理、发泄心理。要想杜绝虚假新闻的发生，必须了解虚假新闻存在的现实基础：受众的文化层次、期待视野、地域分布。这些潜在的现实基础导致有些新闻媒介为吸引读者而从中有意制假，成为虚假新闻产生的根源之一。因此我国的新闻传媒必须认识新闻真实性的本质，严肃新闻纪律，根治虚假新闻。
