Abstract
To the typical soft soil foundation formed from surface water system, how to strengthen the foundation is the biggest problem during construction process. Fortunately, cement mixing pile can solve this problem. This thesis is based on the project of Wuhan-Yichang High speed railway, sixth section in which cement mixing pile was adopted. This thesis will demonstrate the meaningful point and quality test of soft soil foundation construction, making and test the cement mixing pile technologically; and the environmental protection, civilized construction, safety and quality management during whole process. cement mixing pile is to use concrete as a curing agent pile, through the drill with a special deep-mixing machine in the foundation of soft soil deep in-place, so that a range of soft soil can be improved in composite strength, deformation modulus and stability of its mixed foundation. This method shows its priority in dealing with the time, environment, noise, cost, bump, etc. it can be quickly put into use.

The curing agent used in cement mixing pile includes two types--cement grout and dry cement powder. The cement grout is divided into double top deep mixing and Single head deep mixing. The soft soil foundation treatment of Wuhan-Yichang High speed railway, sixth section project approved that cement mixing pile has a significant effect on strengthening soft soil foundation meet to the quality standards.
