play 为非及物动词.故要加with, 和look一样,还有加the是特定这个ball还不是所有的ball

那要看如果是小猫小狗的宠物玩球就要加with，如果是指认踢球打球，就不加with。
加with 还有:
play with fire/snow...

"play with" 固定塔配:
1. The children are playing with toys.
2. These bottlenosed dolphins played with a few balls after the show
3. 有时还可以写成:A dolphin at the Mirage in Vegas playing ball with himself.
4. 或: Video of girl playing ball with dolphins.
