One summer, Peter took his whole family to Scotland for their annual holiday. He
drove his Benz sedan up the motorway. His wife was sitting at his side and his
daughters were quiet in the back. They stopped at a restaurant for lunch and a
hotel for the night. In the restaurant they had the best table, and in the hotel
the best room. In both places they got perfect service and they had a good time.
The following day they reached the cottage they had rented. The housekeeper was waiting for them and so was a hot meal.
For the first week the weather was beautiful. They went down to the sea each day. Peter swam with his elder daughter, and taught the younger one
how to swim. His wife took care of Jerry, their little daughter, as she crawled
on the beach.
They had picnic lunches in the shade of a large red umbrella and at half past five, Peter drove the family back to the cottage.
