Dear teacher,
I hope all the things get on well with you.I write to you to let you know how I spend my summer holiday.
During the holiday, My family and I went to Shanghai to the EXPO. The pavilions are marvelous and each shows the style of its country. They are arts rather than buildings. Besides, we met a lot of foreigners, they visited China pavilion with great interest. The EXPO provide a platform for different cultures and traditions to communicate, just as its logo said"without going abroad, you will have a chance to travel around the world". I spent the rest of my holiday doing my homework and joining the extra classes which will be helpful to the study of next term. I reviewed and previewed the text, so that I can do well in my coming lessons.
Well, it's time for me to have classes. I hope you enjoy youself in the summer holiday.
