How to Make My Class Active and Interesting?
A very good morning/afternoon to you all,everybody.My name is ***,and you can call me Mr.***.I have the honor to share my ideals on teaching and learning here.We are all teachers,and have the same great ambition of teaching our students everything we know.Hower,we sometimes can not do it well,for as we know,our classes are not so lively and interesting enough to attract our students.It seems there is something more important than our knowledge in class.Well,for a start,I would like to ask you a question,“What's the most important thing to a class?”Is liveliness and interest your answer?
Yes,to be lively and interesting is of great importance to a class.Only when they feel that a class is attractive do our students concentrate on it,and then we can gain the best effect.On the contrary,if a class is boring,the students would not listen to us carefully. But the problem is how to make our classes lively and interesting.First of all,in my opinion,a sense of humour is needed,as a teacher, we should try to develop our senses of humour,we can make our classes lively and interesting by speaking in humourous words.Secondly,we can tell some interesting stories to make our students laugh before our classes,some jokes and puzzles included.But the stories must be fresh and fantastic,or the students will be bored.Thirdly,after a class,we can play some games with the students.Almost all students like games,they'll take active part in in them,and the classes will be lively.Fourth,get alone with our students.Only by this,can we know more about them and gain their respect,or nothing would help in class.Last but not least,just treat the students as our best friends.Don't regard them as children.Every student is inclined to tell their secrets to those they regard as good friends.In this way,our students will be warmed up and the class will be active,and then a good teaching effect can be achieved.
