In order to push forward the task of energy conservation, carbon emission reduction and wastage reduction of the leading setting 300MW of the China Power Company Group, the Generating Company Ltd. of Yunnan China Power Patrol Department intends to carry out a holistic alteration item to the No. 6 setting and entrusts the China Power Scientific Academe with the task to perform the diagnosis and test of its capability to all of the facilities of the whole plant.

Based on the related data from this current test, this present paper, treating the No. 6 setting of the power plant as the research object, sums up and analyzes the correlative factors, which have an impact on the boiler efficiency of the circulating fluidized bed.

By means of contrast between the fuel test and the design, it can be see that the catchment score received of the fuel is 4.52% to 12.52 more than that of the design value.

After contrasting the test of every kind of loss and the design, it is found that the loss of smoke evacuation is much more over the design value no matter it is in full load or part load, the two solids are not fully burnt and lost and heat dissipation and physical thermal loss are a bit more over the design value.

After analyzing the contributing factors of all kinds of losses, it is found that the influence degree of each of the factor to the losses is different. According to the theory of analysis of loss allowance, when analyzing the relativity of all of the factors which influence the efficiency of No. setting, it is found, that it is the most correlative way to shift the temperature of smoke evacuation and low order calorific value so as to adjust boiler efficiency no matter it is in full load or part load

Lastly, according to some existent problems when the setting is functioning, such as overproof of the smoke temperature, cracking of the piping, overproof of the slag-off temperature and so on, the paper advances the suggestion on drying lignite to advance its quality, building in a girder to prevent from abrasion, rebuilding the cinder cooling device and renovating the heat preservation via analysis when referring to a large mount of correlative documents.

Through an analysis of the capability of No. 6 setting of the Power Plant of the China Power Patrol Department as well as a study of some existent problems of the No. 6 setting. this present paper offers not only some correlative suggestions to No. 6 setting of the Power Plant of the China Power Patrol Department, but a certain reference to the similar types of boilers.
