正确使用手机英语

如题所述

1. With the improvement of our living standards, nearly everyone can afford a cell phone these days. Every coin has two sides. While we enjoy the benefits that cell phones have brought us, we are also faced with many problems.
2. To begin with, cell phones have provided us with many conveniences. With just a touch, we can surf the Internet whenever we please, without the need to open a computer. Moreover, we are immediately informed of anything important as long as we carry our cell phones with us. Furthermore, they can also assist us in learning, as we can easily look up words in digital dictionaries.
3. Secondly, the use of cell phones still causes several serious issues. On one hand, the most significant concern is electromagnetic radiation, which is detrimental to our health. On the other hand, excessive use of cell phones can affect our studies and work. For instance, during an important meeting with a crucial partner, if your cell phone rings, it can interrupt the entire atmosphere, and the partner may perceive it as a lack of respect. Another example is when you are attending a dull class or meeting; you might be tempted to take out your phone to read novels, surf the Internet, or play games, all of which can distract you from focusing on the task at hand.
4. As for the use of cell phones in educational settings, with the advancement of high technology, nowadays, people have access to a variety of new products, which have simplified communication. Cell phones have become one of the most significant inventions, enabling people to stay in touch with each other anytime and anywhere. Naturally, it is expected for adults to own cell phones, but some students, particularly those in high school or below, are not permitted to use them due to the belief that they need to concentrate on their studies, and cell phones can be distracting. In my opinion, all students should have the freedom to use cell phones, as they are merely communication tools, and there is no need to ban their use. Initially, students may become addicted to using their cell phones because of their curiosity about new things. However, with time, they will grow accustomed to it and learn to use them appropriately.
5. Cell phones have become an integral part of our lives, and their influence is undeniable. Whether we appreciate their presence or not, they have already altered our daily routines and played a significant role in human history.
