A: Do you think science has changed the way we live in ?
B: yes ,definitely. There are many many things we can see the magic effect of our science.
A: Really? in your opinion, what is the best example that illustrate the effect of our science ?
B: The communication for instance. In ancient time, we have very limited communication methods mainly by voice and letter. It is hard to imagine that people from different places can get together face to face and have meeting in a virtual conference room. A letter usually takes several weeks to reach the target people.
A: Yes, absolutely, what about now?
B: Now, people can talk to each other face to face from half around the world. In a multi-national company, people from different countries can have a discussion using our modern technology. They not only see the shared documents but also see their counterparts face expression instantly. In the modern world, people can communicate in any time around the clock or any given location.
A: You just gave a very good example to illustrate the powerful effects of modern science.
How do you see the future development ?
B: Well, the modern technology has changed every aspect of our lives and it will move forwards. It brings us more convenience and it also has some side effects on our environments. Our scientists has noticed that and we can see that more and more environment-friendly technology will come about.
