1. worrying 改成 worried
固定短语 be worried about 担心...
2. that 改成 it
it可做形式宾语，形容词difficult做宾语补足语，后面的不定式短语to get on...是真正的宾语

the number of...意思是“...的数量”，是一个整体概念，为单数名词，所以谓语动词也用单数is
4. 第二个to 省略
固定短语 prefer to do sth rather than do sth，其中than后面的不定式一般不加to
5. tell 改成 telling
be fond of doing sth 喜欢做某事
of是介词，其后的动词须改用动名词形式
6. with 改成 to
固定短语 be similar to...，意思是“和...类似/相同”
