Einstein’s teacher should have had a little more caution before he came to the conclusion that his pupil would never get anywhere in life. Probably he was irritated by the thought that the young Einstein was undermining his position. And certainly it is true that Einstein did not give a fig for authority. However,far from being a flaw in Einstein is character,this proved ,beyond any doubt ,to be one of his greatest strengths. It was on this foundation,combined with the remarkable power of his imagination,that his great achievements were built.
