Advantage: benefit, positive aspect, strength在意义和用法上的相同和不同要详解!

这几个词是比较相似的，但是也还是有区别的。

Advantage的意思是“优势”，因为有一定的比较性，所以可以这样用：“In ABC aspect, I have an advantage over Mr.XYZ" (在ABC方面，我比XYZ先生更占优势。）

Benefit的意思是“好处，”没有任何比较性。Positive aspect/positive factor 跟benefit差不多，但相对弱一些，有时候可理解为仅仅是“不是负面因素”的意思。

以上的几位把strength的其它意义都忽略掉了。strength也可当作“强／长处”来用,i.e. "Please tell us about your/your plan's strengths and weaknesses."（请告诉我们你的/你的方案的长处与短处。）

这四个词（虽然不可完全通用）从最强到最弱，差不多可这样子排：
Advantage > strength >= benefit > positive aspect

人数；兵员，兵力：an army unit of a strength of 6000 一支6000人的军队
