What is known to all of us is the fact that transportation tools are a vital part for modernists,and our life becomes more and more convenient owing to the increasing amount of transportation tools surrounding us, which profits from the development of science and technology as well as the age.
However, every coin has two sides. Constant troubles and even disasters follow the wide use of these tools. Many people can’t help being buried in deep thoughts about what the ideal transportation tools are there.
As far as I’m concerned, the answer may be bicycles. As you know, there are a variety of advantages of bicycles. To begin with,bicycles can be the ideal choice in big cities where the condition of traffic jams is common.
Secondly, it is by riding bicycles that many people who suffer from work pressure are able to respond better to acute stress and have lower blood pressure, especially in such a society where the pace of life is rapid enough. If you are feeling down, riding bicycles makes you feel better as many researches indicated that this kind of exercise had about as much effects
on depression as psychotherapy.
Moreover, pursuing good appearances, handy and stable structures and reasonable price is currently the tendency of bicycles’development, so this tool is open to public people.With the improvement of public transportation construction and infrastructures, the demand for private cars will decrease correspondingly. An example of this is that in Shanghai, many people travel back and forth to work on them.
Above all, riding bicycles is eco-friendly. We all know global warming is a severe problem urgently waiting to be solved. Therefore, there is no doubt that riding bicycles not only follows the trend of the times to construct a resource-saved society, but to some extent it can protect the environment and improve the living standard as well.

而且，追求美观，轻巧和坚固的车身结构以及合理的价格是目前自行的发展趋势，因此这种交通工具是面向公众的。随着公共交通的建设发展和基础设施的完善，私家车的需求将在相应的减少。例如上海许多人通过骑自行车来回上下班。
最重要的是，骑自行车是环保的。众所周知全球变暖是一个亟待解决的问题。因此，毫无疑问骑自行车不仅顺应了建设一个资源节约型社会的历史发展趋势，同样在一定程度上也保护了环境，提高了（人们的）生活水平。
