1、看句中有无be动词，如有，直接在be动词后+ not。

即：be动词(am、is、are、was、were)+not、

例： I am a teacher.我是个老师

否定：I am not a teacher．我不是老师。

2、看句中有无情态动词，如有，直接在情态动词后+ not

即：情态动词(can、must、should)+not、

He can help me．他能帮助我。

否定：He can't help me．他不能帮助我。

3、如上述二者都没有，就应用助动词+ not

即：助动词(do、does、did) + not

1、有系动词be（am,is,are,was,were）的,在后面加not；

如：I am Chinese. 改成：I am not Chinese.

2、有情态动词can,may,must等的，在后面加not；

如：She can say Chinese. 改成：She can not say Chinese.

3、已经有了助动词的，在后面加not；

如：He goes to school on weekdays. 改成：He (doesn't go) to school on weekdays.

4、没有前面三种情况的，要用到助动词do，does，did加not，放在动词原形前面。

如：he go to work late.  改成：Seldom does he go to work late.

1、 在be动词后加not。如：is not ， are not ， am not

2、 在can，should， will等后加not。如：cannot， should not， will not；

3、如果句子中没有be动词或者是情态动词，要在动词前面加don’t 、doesn’t或者是didn't.

首先判断句子时态，如果句子是过去式，则要在动词前面加didn’t，后面动词用原型，some改成any，其余照抄.

如果句子不是过去式，则判断是否为第三人称单数，如果第三人称单数，要在动词前面前加doesn’t,后面动词用原型，some 改成any，其余部分照抄。

其他情况均要在句子动词前面加don’t，some改成any，其它部分照抄.

例子：

I am a girl. → I am not a girl.

You are a student. →You are not a student.→You aren’t a student.

This is Tom’s bag. → This is not Tom’s bag.→ This isn’t Tom’s bag.

简单地说就是在动词后面加not，有is、am、are的句子会在这些词后面加not，I am (not) a boy.没有is、am、are的句子会在动词前加don't或者do not，I （don't）like basketball.
如果有must、may、can这类的词，在这类词后面加not，I can （not ）walk.

doesn‘t其实是don't的一种变形，一般用在主语是第三人称（她、他、它、小明这类词）的句子中，比如She likes singing. 就要改成She doesn't like singing.
