国际贸易标准分类第四次修订版获联合国统计委员会第三十七届会议（2006年3月）通过，并被国际商品贸易统计机构间特设工作组推荐用于大部分国家和国际组织分析国际商品贸易。
该分类法将商品分为为10大类、63章、223组、786个分组和1924个项目。
