听歌对学英语好处极大。首先听英语歌对口语非常有益，而且对书面表达也大有裨益。

我个人认为听歌应该听歌词比较有内容的。那首人人皆知的yesterday once more真是百听不厌，难怪一些美国人评选最有生命力最动听的歌时它总是名列榜首。Carpenter还有一些歌也不错，你可以去找找。喜欢英语歌曲的人必备的软件是winmx或Limewire。有了这类软件，什么歌都能找到。

我个人非常喜欢乡村歌曲，特别是 Dolly Parton的，她的很多歌都很有内容，很容易触动人的灵魂。比如Coat of Many Colors，唯一的伴奏就是一把吉他，但是引起的共鸣不亚于一曲交响乐。如果你爱你的妈妈，听了这首歌以后你会觉得一个“爱”字永远不够表达你的那份感情和感激。

Whitney Houston的歌艺术水准最高。 I Will Always Love You没几个人敢去唱，韩红还可以。我就只敢听了，尽管字字句句都会，但最多只是喝了一斤白酒时借着酒力哼三句。
