The Advantages of College Students Doing Part-time Jobs
People's view towards the advantages and disadvantages of the college students doing part-time jobs vary greatly. Some hold the idea that doing part-time jobs can bring us benefits, while others argue that doing part-time jobs will mislead us and distract our attention on our studying. As for me, I agree to the former idea because its advantages outweigh its disadvantages.
There are dozen of reasons behind my belief. Firstly, we college students could promote our study through doing part-time jobs. For example, if we find a part-time job related to our major, the practice will enable we better understand what we's learned from books. What's more, doing part-time jobs can offer us opportunities to go beyond what we's been taught in class, and we will even learn something that doesn't exist in books but in practice.
Secondly, we can accumulate working experience though part-time jobs, which will be beneficial for their future job-hunting more or less. Actually, doing part-time jobs is a way of preparing for the future full-time jobs. In addition, as we know, we graduated students are usually refused by company for the sake of lacking practical working experience. It will be easier for us to get the fortune in a jib-huntings if we accumulate experience in the process of doing part time jobs.
Last but not the least, doing part-time jobs will partly relieve the family financial burdens, especially the poor family which can not afford to pay the fees in college. For example, the cost of enrollment and the the fee of living make we college life so expensive that many students have to lose the opportunities to enter the college. If we find a part-time job in our college, we can reduce the burden of our family and make proper use in our life.
From the above, we can draw a conclusion that doing a part-time job is beneficial to our life. If we do a part-time job, we can combine the theory we learn from school with the practice. If we have the experiences in part-time jobs, we can get the working opportunities easier. If we do a part-time job, we can relieve the burden of our family. In a word, we can benefit from doing part-time jobs a lot.
