有没有 ONE PIECE OF 这个短语？我只听过A PIECE OF啊，还有类似的短语吗？

那有没有this/that piece of 这样的短语？应该没有吧？那为什么有这样的句子：this piece of material may be cut up to make a pair of trousers.(这段布料可以裁一条裤子）？

可以这么用，但是不应该算是固定短语
one piece of 意思同“a piece of ”一样，译为“一片，一块”，但是one piece of 更强调 “one”,常与only搭配使用，有且只有一个：比如【There's only one piece of cake left. 只剩下一块饼了。】

类似短语还有：
a part of ... / one part of...（ XXX的一部分）
a cup of .../ one cup of ...

补充：this piece of 也不能算是固定搭配了呵，用这个短句强调“this”，特指，表示“这块儿”的意思；如果一定要归类的话，短语只有“a piece of / pieces of”，而后来的“one piece of ”和“this/that piece of ”都只是 a piece of 的变型，严格来说三者都是一个短语
