对不起这几天我没去上课， 我现在觉得很不舒服。上个星期我感冒了，可是在周末来感冒发展成咳嗽。现在我每天都不停地咳嗽。 星期一我去看了医生， 我问请她给我开个病假条, 但是她说, 第一周生病了，不能开病假条。我觉得当我感冒咳嗽的时候，去上课对我的老师和同学不公平，所以我觉得不去上课比较好。我不怕我会功课会退步， 因为我们现在学习很简单的中文， 而且我已经知道这周的词汇和语法。星期四如果我觉得好一点，我会努力尝试回去上课。即使我依然觉得很不舒服， 我一定会参加星期五的考试我希望您能明白我决定不去上课的原因。祝您身体健康Elizabeth Donaghue (静娴）Dear teacher.This is Elizabeth. Sorry I have not been to class the last few days, I am not feeling very well at the moment. Last week I caught a cold, but over the weekend the cold has become a cough. Now I am coughing all day everyday. On Monday i went to see the doctor, I asked her to give me a sick note but she said, the first week of illness (being ill) the doctors are not allowed to issue sick notes. I feel coming to class when I have a cough and cold is not fair on my teachers or class mates, so I decided it was best not to come to class.I am not worried about falling behind because we are studying very simple chinese right now and I already know all of this weeks vocabulary and grammar.If I am feeling a little better on thursday i will try to come back to class. Even if I am still not well, I will definitely attend Fridays test.I hope you can understand my decision to not come to class.
