到底应该填for还是on
书上的答案给的是for老师也听答案的了 但我觉得怎么是on呢 。。 哪位朋友能弄准了！
帮忙解释一下理由。。

for有时候 是表示一种愿望，但是事情并没有发生，尚未实现

这题里后面接的是his passing the exam则应该用for意思是“为了”表示原因
