老师麻烦几个问题
Most pop singers suffer from three things:lack of training,overuse and abuse of the voice,especially when they are young.和When they go on tour, they do a vast number of concerts,singing in smoky places.这里两个when引导的状语从句。when引导从句为什么有时候加逗号有时候不加？这里为什么要加？我还看有人说when放在句首通常要加逗号？

Another way in which meat production affects the environment is through the use of water and land.这里的in which可以换成that和不填对吧。那么可以改写成in the way吗？

电影台词两句I'm going to forget this conversation ever took place.这里的took place是定语吧？不像是宾补啊 。 还有you know what side that is翻译为你知道哪边是对的。可是如果写成you know what side is也说得通吧。这两句有什么区别呢？

口语中though和but的区别？比如说Tom can read though和but Tom can read这两句哪种比较地道？though用在书面语可以吗？

形容词和副词比较级的区分I’m happier than her 这句是形容词比较级的
那么she sings more beautifully than i这句是属于副词比较级的了因为有sing修饰副词，但是我在网上看到有人把i run faster than him归纳到形容词比较级里面了，这个是属于那个呢，怎么区分呢？

They are uncomfortable to sit in for long.这个句子如果改成it is uncomfortable to sit in我能理解因为主语是to sit in所以加了介词in，可是第一个句子的主语是they啊为什么还要用不及物动词sit in为什么不能直接改成sit？我想着这句话是to do主动表被动？所以to do也可以提前当主语？
还有to sit in应该是主补吧？因为这里实际上是被动。

那么she sings more beautifully than i这句是属于副词比较级
因为副词修饰动词sings
网上有人把i run faster than he 归纳到形容词比较级里面 是错的

you know what side that is这里的that是个代词作宾从主语的？

哇哇好多问题啊吓死人了哈哈。不过至少你很诚恳的想学，不是来找人帮忙做作业的。

1. 别人说的没错，在句首通常要加逗号。我给你简单举个例子－

When I am sad, I like to eat.
I like to eat when I am sad.
（当我难过时，我喜欢吃东西。）

可是注意哦，这里的 when 是 “当” 的意思。如果是以下的句子，千万不要乱放 逗号！
When are you coming? （你什么时候来？）
When are your examinations? （你什么时候考试？）

2. 没错，可以不填。Another way meat production affects the environment is... （这句没问题）

"That" and "In the way" 不行啦！尤其是 in the way, no no no!

3. 不好意思哦，我中文不好，不知道“定语”是什么意思。

不过第二句话，"You know what side that is." 翻译为"你知道哪边是对的" 肯定是因为演员们前面说了些什么。你看电影学英文也不能一句一句拆下来学，知道吗？"You know what side that is." 最直接翻译的意思仅仅是 “你知道那是哪边。”

"You know what side is" 不是完整的句子。"You know which side is right." 才完整。

4. "Though" and "but" 的意思十分接近，可是 “though” 还挺复杂的。你也知道，有 although 和 even 这些词意思也相同，太容易混杂了。所以英文若不是太好的话，我建议你就用“but”吧！很安全的，绝对没问题！

5. 我非常同意你说的，我学了将近二十年的英文，还是觉得形容词和副词有时候很乱。

形容词 － 形容的一定（一定一定）是名词。
副词 － 形容的可以是形容词，动词，或其他的副词。

只要记住这一点就好啦！

6. "Sit in" and "sit" 不同。
如果只是说他们是坐着的，就用sit.
”Sit in“ 意思是 1.当替代。2. 受邀出席或参与某活动 （也应该是你这个句子所用的吧）。这个词不常见，也不太好用，不清楚也别乱用哦。

你问题好多，第一个加不加逗号无所谓的，如果你愿意可以随意加逗号，第二个，不可以换成that或省略，这里是个定语从句，which代表anotherway，第三个可以理解为定语，但实际为定语从句的省略，并且that此处为代词，不能省。这里run理解为系动词，故为形容词比较级，主语是they，这里不定式作宾补。由于sit是不及物动词因此加介词
