为什么我的电脑无法运行星际争霸

我的电脑据说运行星际2没问题~~因为是才买的~~显卡支持星际2~~但是不至于星际1不能运行吧~~~.....
我买了很多安装碟都会弹出如下英文（我英文不是很好，不能完全翻译它的意思）：
Starcraft was unable to switch video modes .To correct this problem,please set Desktop Area to 640*480 and Color Palette to 256 colors and try running Starcrafr again.

For Windows 95 and Windows NT
Select"Setting-Control Panel"from the "Start"menu
Run the "Display"control panel applet
Select the "Settings"tab
Set the"Desktop Area"to"640*480pxcels"
Set"Color Palette"to 256 colors
if your video card does not support 256 color mode,you will need to install the most recent DirectX video drivers for your video card.A list of video card manufactuers can be found at:
http://www.blizzard.com/support/vendors.htm

The error encountered while trying to switch video modes was:

全部是手打出来的~~可能有错误单词~~请谅解~~~~~
我不知道怎么回事的~~这台电脑重来没有安装成功过星际~~我又是一个忠实的星际爱好者~~~希望大家能帮帮我....
还有就是我的电脑显示器是宽屏的~~有些人说宽屏不能玩星际~~但是我在网吧也看到过宽屏能玩星际的~~..
希望大家帮帮我哦~~跪谢~~...
还补充一点是 我的显卡型号是
ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO
听说这个是比较好的显卡 能支持星际2 所以我想运行星际1 应该没问题吧

Starcraft was unable to switch video modes .
星际争霸不能转换显示模式运行。

To correct this problem,please set Desktop Area to 640*480 and Color Palette to 256 colors and try running Starcrafr again.

要正确运行程序，请设置左面显示为640X480，颜色用256色，然后再运行星际争霸。

按照如上设置来玩.安装DX9.0C，还有最新的显卡驱动。老游戏有的需要较老的显示驱动，最新的驱动有优化。ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 这个系列的显卡再刚推出时显卡驱动问题很多，所以找个最新的驱动来安装试试。
