Should English Be Canceled In Entrance Exam？As we know that, English is an important subject in schools of China。 But recently, ourgoverment just took out a big step in Entrance Exam reform about English.
The score share of English decreased from 150 to100。 This made a dispute in society, and some people even think that English should be totally canceled in Entrance Exam.
Personally, I don’t agree with this opinion。No doubt that English is the most popular language in the world。 With the Earth becoming smaller and smaller, people all over the world mix together and they need to communicate with a kind of language.
English has been playing this role well for long time and it would play its role in the following centuries for sure。 If we cancel English in Entrance Exam, how do we expect our students to learn English?
So, canceling English in exam just means learning English stops in our schools, and this would result serious problem。English should not be canceled in Entrance Exam.

但现实状况往往是受高考考试方式的影响，学生英语学习完全是以应对高考为目标，只侧重阅读理解和语言表达能力的练习，据说练习的少，最后结果还是哑巴英语的获胜。
反对取消英语高考”的理由是：近年来教育国际化趋势的逐步增加，英文做为国际通用语言，早已成为了很多国家和地区孩子的第二语言，英文的重要性日益显现，因此，这部分人认为高考取消英语乃无稽之谈，不过是英语水平差的人自欺欺人罢了。
