About Baoding City
Baoding is situated to the South of Beijing and is known as the South Gate and Satellite City of Beijing with strategic importance. It is both a historic and cultural city of China approved by the State Council and a city opening to the outside world. There are 3 urban districts, 4 county-level cities and 18 counties under the Municipal Government covering an area of 22,000 km_0_5 and with a population of 10,300,000, but the population in Baoding city is about 600,000.
