I really had a happy summer holiday. I did my homework every day so that I could finish doing my homework on time. I reviewed what I learnt and prepared for the new lessons. I also bought some interesting books and read every evening. I helped my parents with the housework. Besides, I often visited my old friends and do sports with them because it was good for our healthy. What's more, I took a short trip with my parents. We went to Beidaihe and spent three days there. I also learnt how to cook delicous food and how to play tennis. What a special summer holiday !

I have a very special summer holiday this year. I mostly spend my days at home rather than playing outside with my friends. I finish my summer holiday homework and spend some of my time to do revision, so that I would be well prepared for my next year’s work.
I also spend some time to have a rest, as for the past year, I have spend a long time doing my work which causes me lack of sleep, so I would like to have more sleep during the holiday. I would spend some time on playing computer games also, so that I could relax from the work given by the school for the past year. After relaxing, I would help out with some housework, such as mopping the floor, hanging the clothes, preparing the dinner for my family and washing the dishes, even though it’s hard work, I still enjoy it very much. I would go out and have some exercise also, because I think that it is very important to maintain a good health, so I would not get ill easily.
