The early 20s of this century, when the International Student Organization had already begun plans to organize the World University Games. 深圳大运中心位于深圳市区东北部,龙岗中心城西区,距离市中心约15公里,是深圳举办2011年第26届世界大学生夏季运动会的主场馆区,也是深圳实施文化立市战略、发展体育产业、推广全民健身的未来中心区。
整个项目占地约87.4公顷,建筑面积超过30万平方米,总投资约35亿元人民币,建成后将成为深圳的地标性建筑。项目包括主体育场、体育馆、游泳馆以及全民健身广场、体育综合服务区、新闻指挥中心等体育设施。同时,在主场馆区附近,还将建成环境优美、设施齐全的运动员村,为运动员提供便利舒适的生活。
“一场两馆”将承担大运会的重要比赛任务。其中,规划建设6万个座位的主体育场将承担开幕式、闭幕式和田径比赛;可容纳1.8万名观众的主体育馆将成为篮球比赛的主要场馆;同时还有3000个座位的游泳馆。
大运中心在设计上也集中体现了最前卫的建筑理念和以人为本的宗旨。“一场两馆”呈三角形分布,中间由水面相连,三座体育场馆颇似三块水晶巨石,与周围的山体、绿地配合,形成了独特的“山水石”结构。巨石形象打破常规,首次用于大型公共体育建筑中,能够体现深圳的创新精神。同时,充分考虑了自然采光通风,降低资源消耗,符合环保节能的设计理念,提高了运用效率,具有良好的经济性。
