1、so that 引导目的状语从句。意思是“以便,为了”;so +形容词或副词原形+ that ...引导结果状语从句。意思是“如此……以致……”,此时可与too... to... 互用。
如:
1). He spoke loudly so that all of us could hear him .
他大声说以便我们都能听见他(说)。
2). He is so young that he can't go to school .
=He is too young to go to school.
他是如此小以致他不能上学。
2、such+a/an +形容词+名词单数+ that,或such +形容词+不可数名词或复数名词+that .... 意思是“如此……以致……”
如:
It is such an interesting book that I want to read it again.
它是如此有趣的一本书以致我想再看一次。
3、too+形容词或副词原形+ to do sth ,意思是”太……而不能……“
如:
1).He is too young to go to school .
2). He ran too slowly to catch the early bus .
他跑得太慢不能赶上早班车。
