sometimes ,if I was left alone at his desk ( )he worked in the lab, an assistant or a student might come in and tell me perhaps I shouldn't be playing with his office things.
空里可填while 和the moment 答案是while.
能不能帮我分析一下这个句子的成分，前面的那个if...是什么东西，然后如果填the moment 在语法上对不对？

the moment 是“一...就...”的意思，和as soon as 的意思一样，因此它也遵循“主将从现”的原则，就是主句将来时态，从句用现在时态。这里显然没有用过去将来时，所以不能用the moment。

whlie除了有“当...时候”还有一个重要的用法，就是俩个事务形成对比的作用。这里就是他实验室工作，而我却被留在他的办公桌，独自一人。

the moment的话要用at the moment
