My ears are the organ that detects sound. It not only receives sound, but also aids in balance and body position. The ear is part of the auditory system.
Often the entire organ is considered the ear, though it may also be considered just the visible portion. In most mammals, the visible ear is a flap of tissue that is also called the pinna (or auricle in humans) and is the first of many steps in hearing. Vertebrates have a pair of ears placed somewhat symmetrically on opposite sides of the head. This arrangement aids in the ability to localize sound sources.

My Ears
Ears as the parts of our bodies,they work with us lifelong time. We can not neglect their functions in our daily life. When we hear the nice musics and rhythms, we can not help feeling excited and warm from the bottom of our hearts. Whereas we get the bad news from our ears , we suddenly fall into the trouble of touching our souls and feel gloomy. No ears, no sounds. They are crucial to our work and study.
We need to protect our ears everyday. It is beneficial to build our healthy sense of sound. All in all,we should open our ears to listen to all kinds of sounds in the world.本回答被提问者和网友采纳
