In the music video, it begins in an airport, then Westlife's flight is
cancelled and Bryan says he's going home. The others follow him, and
they go through a little town, and end up singing the last part on a
clifftop overlooking the ocean.
I always thought it was more about loving a place rather than a person,
from the way they sing "over seas from coast to coast, to find the place
I love the most, where the skies are blue" - it's like a song for their
home country.
Or maybe it's just about having a true love overseas and wanting to get
back to her. Songs can have different meanings for everyone!
